Sinulog Snapshots (a year ago)

Kriswanders, has been dormant for a month now, and I have a lot to share with you guys, but I want to start the year with a throwback Snapshot post. Snapshot series has been dormant for quite some time as well, so I guess it is fair enough to bring this back to life. lol! I’ve seen a lot of comments about my photos and I would like to give credit to my partner who was too patient to teach me the basics. If you’re reading one of my posts and saw a photo with me on it, then he took that shot. If they have “Instagram boyfriend”, I have a “Blog boyfriend”. Haha!

Since almost every Cebuano is excited about the upcoming festival, how about share some snaps that were taken during Sinulog last year (I told you this will be a throwback snap, right?). I guess it’s just the right time of the year to have these snaps uploaded. Most photos were not retouched (because I’m lazy today —  I know he will reprimand me again for posting shots he thinks not worth it, but I guess these are all good — for my taste anyway.)

Enough said, snapshots series should be something that the photos create the blog story but I am mumbling a lot of things right now. :p

Cebu city, being the center of Sto. Nińo Catholic celebrations in the Philippines, is always busy every the first month of the year. It’s the time for Sinulog Festival, an annual cultural and religious festival held on the third Sunday of January.

You take such good pictures! The burning candles and the flying ribbons are my fav.
I have to get to Cebu some day. Noting down this festival time so that I can coincide the visit.
