Terrazas de Flores Botanical Garden

Imagine yourself walking on a sea of flowers. Experience to unwind in a 2-hectare botanical garden in Malubog, Busay, Cebu city. With over a hundred kind of tropical flowers flourishing over the terraces, Terrazas de Flores Botanical Garden will surely be another tourist destination of Cebu.Terrazas de Flores recently opened to the public last October 1st, 2016. Not just a plain tourist destination, it’also generating jobs for the locals given that they’re hiring locals to cultivate the botanical garden. On top of the very relaxing ambiance, speakers are all over the botanical pathways playing a de-stressing melody that radiates all throughout the terraces. You can chill out on their cafe and have an option to dine on their garden overlooking the blooming flowers or opt in with their cottages where you can look at the mountains looking like a back draft on the place. This is a perfect place to unwind, read a book, and de-stress from a whole week of corporate madness. Another great pit stop to add up on the growing list for road trippers escaping the metro by visiting the  slopes of Busay, Cebu. 🙂

..Terrazas de flores is along Trancentral Highway, Malubog, Busay, Cebu city, Philippimes.

..Landmark: It’s just right across Malubog Integrated School.

..Entrance fee is 100.00 php per head.

..They’re open everyday from 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

I have been seeing photos of this garden in social media a lot and your post made me more excited to go visit it one day. It looks so serene and the environment looks so fresh. How far is it from the city? It’s been long since I visited Cebu so maybe a trip there is in order. If only to see and be in this lovely garden.

It’s around 30-45 minutes I guess. You can as well drop by the other tourist locations along the way like temple of leah, Sirao flower farm and Tops Skyline Garden.:)

Been there yesterday with the gang (and fellow blogger friends). Yes, the place is really nice and less crowded that makes it relaxing. But we visited the place late in the afternoon and it was drizzling thus we had just limited photos. Btw, your photos of the place is really great! Seems all corners of the garden got covered in this post. ????

Botanical gardens are therapeutic in other countries. A garden’s influence to the soul is almost synonymous to a tranquil Sunday morning in the province. This is a great place to really enjoy quiet time, too!

I really love botanical gardens! I’ve visited one last year in Sicily. And this year in Poland. And I loved them both. It’s always so beautiful and impressive. I can spend hours in a botanical garden! This one looks absolutely stunning as well. Beautiful pictures!

I absolutely adore botanical gardens. I have been to the one in Hamburg as well, Germany. I can recommend it because it’s really beautiful. I came a lot in the botanical garden in Utrecht, since that is my hometown. Now I have to find the perfect garden here in Stockholm as well 🙂 Have to look that up!
