Wandering Tableau

Wandering Tableau: Sunset Scheme

If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that I always love taking sunset shots. You may think that this one would just be like the one I previously posted, showcasing the beautiful sunset of Bantayan Island. This wandering tableau installment will showcase the collection of snapshots, that give us a glimpse of how sunsets looked like in different parts of the country.

Sunset Boulevard, Dapitan City. When I visited my hometown, I had the chance to again play on the shores of sunset boulevard, the sun was beginning to set so I took advantage of the wondrous colors and took the shot.

Trancentral Highway, Balaman. My partner and I were taking a break somewhere around Trancentral highway and played around the camera settings. We got this shot, so I guess the experiment is worth it. 🙂

Bantayan Island, Cebu. The last time I visited Bantayan Island, we didn’t just enjoy the beach and the food. We got to see another beautiful ending when the sun set. I can’t stressed out how amazing Bantayan sunset is, it changes to a burst of colors, and everything just looks perfect.

Santander, Cebu. This photo was included on my previous series, highlighting the 90’s kid. It’s again a another sunset photo that I can’t miss to include.

Palompon, Leyte. When we visited Kalanggaman Island, we had the chance to tour around Palompon, Leyte. This was just right behind their market, a perfect scene locals get to experience everyday.

Kalanggaman Island. Since we decided to stay overnight on Kalanggaman, we were able to see the cloudy yet still breathtaking view. DSC0582820160402_174813

Osmeña Peak, Cebu. The highest peak in the island of Cebu offers a great deal of stunning view while the Earth is trying to wrap up a day.

Cebu Yacht Club. The city sunset view was taken when we tried out Bucket Shrimps in Cebu Yacht Club. Imagine eating a glorious meal with this view? Isn’t that much more satisfying?

My best sunset was at along the Mactan Chanel while riding Jokai Cruise. The standout for me is your Transcentral Photo. I love the silhouette and the moon!

Beautiful photos! May I know what camera are you using? My personal fave would be the one with a person wearing a helmet and the moon is peeking out. I love sunsets, by the way. 🙂

Thank you! I’m using a Zony RX-100 on your favorite photo. Some were also taken using a Gopro Hero 4. 🙂

Very well composed pics. The colors captured are indeed mesmerizing!
Each of these will make good greeting cards. Add a caption to them and they will be wonderful posters! 🙂

Loving the color of the sunset here! They say it’s really different in a tropical country. For me, the sunset looks different even in various places in the Philippines. It’s one of the things that are beautifully created, as if to put a happy ending to a great day.

I agree with you, Sam, and then more. For me, I love sunsets in different settings, whether it is urban or otherwise. But if I were to choose, I would choose nature. And when it comes to nature, is there a better place other than the Philippines? Of course, but this is where I am. 🙂

HEY! I enjoyed your sunset photos. As a matter of fact, on my IG, lately, I had been posting mostly sunset photos too. There is something about a sunset that calms the mind. For me, that is. I am especially attracted to the orange hues and colors, so that may explain my affinity with sunsets.
